Ninth-class girl student gang-raped in Dipalpur

A ninth-class girl student was allegedly gang-raped by influential persons in the suburb of Dipalpur tehsil of Okara district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident first came to light, when the victim’s father registered a complaint of molestation of his daughter in Dipalpur police limits.
According to the FIR, two locals Sohail and Owais, along with their accomplices of Tahir Kalan, a suburb of Dipalpur, picked up a blind poor labourer’s daughter studying in the ninth grade and took her to their hide, and allegedly gang-raped her.
The sources said that the accused are threatening serious consequences for the victim's family. The local police instead of providing justice are pressing the victim’s family for compromise.
On Saturday, the victim's family and local residents protested and demanded immediate notice from Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and DPO Okara Furqan Bilal and immediate provision of justice.
