Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday ordered authorities to take Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) examination again, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Justice Arbab Mohammad Tahir conducted hearing of the case, during which he remarked said that in Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University MDCAT examination were held twice in a month.


A report prepared by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) stated that most of the questions were out-of-syllabus in the MDCAT examination.


Earlier, Justice Salahuddin Panhwar of the Sindh High Court has directed that the (MDCAT be conducted again within four weeks, following complaints of irregularities in the examination process.


Presiding over the hearing with Justice Amjad Ali Sahito, Justice Panhwar emphasized the importance of clarity for students, stating, "We cannot leave students in a state of uncertainty." The directive comes in response to multiple petitions alleging discrepancies in the MDCAT exam, with the court underscoring the need for a transparent and fair process to safeguard students’ futures.
