Maryam Nawaz appointed PML-N Senior Vice-President & chief organiser

President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a major party reconstitution and appointed his niece Maryam Nawaz Sharif as PML-N Senior Vice-President and chief organiser, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

This was announced by PML-N spokesperson and Federal Information Minister Marrriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday. She also issued a notification carrying Shehbaz Sharif’s signatures.

Marriyum Aurangzeb shared a notification on her Twitter handle, stating that Mr Sharif had announced major administrative decisions.

“Pursuant to the powers conferred under the Constitution of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, the undersigned is pleased to appoint Ms Maryam Nawaz Sharif as Senior Vice President" with immediate effect,” the notification reads.

“She is hereby authorized to reorganize the party at all functional tiers/levels as "Chief Organizer,” it added.
