Weather update: Hot and dry conditions with isolated thundershowers expected

The weather is expected to remain predominantly hot and dry across most parts of the country tonight.

However, gusty winds and thundershowers are forecasted for certain regions, including Upper and Southeast Sindh, Northeast and South Balochistan, Northeast and South Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

Wednesday's Weather Forecast:

Islamabad: The capital will experience hot and dry conditions, with partly cloudy skies. Strong winds and thundershowers are expected in the morning or afternoon.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: While most districts will remain hot and dry, there is a chance of rain with strong winds and thunder in Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Batagram, Kohistan, Swat, and surrounding areas.

Punjab: Hot and dry weather will prevail in most districts. However, Toba Tek Singh, Multan, Khanewal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Kot Addu, and Rahim Yar Khan may experience rain with strong winds and thundershowers.

Balochistan: Most districts will continue to experience hot and dry weather. However, Zhob, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Loralai, Kohlu, Sibi, Nasirabad, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Awaran, and Kech may see strong winds and thundershowers, with heavy rain expected at a few locations.

Sindh: Partly cloudy conditions will prevail in most districts. However, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Kashmore, Dadu, Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umerkot, Mithi, and Mirpurkhas could experience rain with strong winds and thunder, with heavy rain possible in Tharparkar, Sanghar, Khairpur, Umerkot, Mithi, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, and surrounding areas.

  • Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan: Partly cloudy skies are expected, with a chance of rain and thundershowers at a few locations.
