Senior journalist and analyst Saleem Bukhari has revealed the facts about Maulana Fazlur Rehman's support for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the Monday’s National Assembly session.

Saleem Bukhari has taken Maulana Fazlur Rehman's speech in the National Assembly with open arms and said that it seemed that the PTI's mandate has been abused. Declaring Maulana's sympathies for PTI beyond understanding, he said, "Has Maulana Sahib forgotten the past behaviour and rudeness of the PTI towards him when they used to dub Maulana Sahib with very indecent names?" And in response, the founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf and the leaders of the party also used to leave no stone unturned in mocking the Maulana.

The senior journalist further said that the “real facilitator” of the terrorism that Maulana Sahib is crying about is the Tehreek-e-Insaf, which used to support the Taliban and was in favour of allowing the Taliban to open offices in Pakistan, that is why Imran Khan was also called by the name of Taliban Khan, while Maulana Sahib also called Imran Khan a Jewish agent. Has Maulana Sahib forgotten everything about Tehreek-e-Insaf and Imran Khan?

During Asad Qaiser's speech in the National Assembly, in response to the baseless allegations levelled against former Chief Minister Punjab and IG Punjab and the police, his analysis was that Asad Qaiser has become a psychological patient and his successive failures in politics have left him disappointed. And it was discovered, similarly, the senior journalist said regarding the deal talks that something is brewing inside the house due to which the cases are being reheard and there are talks of annulling the sentences.

Talking about the problems of wheat farmers, Saleem Bukhari asked why the farmers are protesting? Who is abusing the farmers? And despite the expected bumper crop, why was abundant wheat imported and why is it smuggled and who is responsible for it?

The senior analyst advised the authorities to take seriously the threat given by the farmers that wheat will not be cultivated in the future and cotton crop will also not be cultivated. There will be shortage which will be a threat to the already sinking economy.

Salim Bukhari emphasized the need to solve the problems of the farmers immediately and urged the higher authorities to pay special attention.

Salim Bukhari, while expressing extreme sadness over the latest attacks in Rafah and Gaza Strip, emphasized the need for the International Court of Justice to play its role and expressed hope on the news that the Israeli prime minister, army chief and minister of defence will be heard in the International Court of Justice. By issuing warrants and punishing them for war crimes, he called for an immediate ceasefire, stressing the end of oppression of the Muslims of Gaza and the positive role of the international community.
