Punjab governor yet to receive Buzdar’s resignation

The resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar is yet to be received by Governor Chaudhary Sarwar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The Punjab Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) has also not issued any notification regarding the approval of the chief minister’s resignation.
Informed sources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was keeping the resignation with him.
The Punjab cabinet will be dissolved with the approval of the chief minister’s resignation.
It is to be noted here that the prime minister nominated Parvez Elahi as new Punjab chief minister a few days ago and Usman Buzdar had resigned in his favour.
