Khaqan Abbasi demands establishment of truth commission

Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi demanded the establishment of a truth commission to bring the facts before the people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
“The facts will come before the people by forming the truth commission,” he said while giving his opinion in ‘Goonj’ programme of 24NewsHD TV channel.
“There will be no problem if all the institutions stay within the constitutional limits,” he pointed out.
He stated that he had had several meetings with ex-army chief General (r) Qamar Javed Bajwa as the prime minister, adding that he had never asked him to end the Panama issue.
“Only the national issues used to be discussed in those meetings,” he said.
