Toll tax on highways and motorways increased once again

The government has increased the toll tax on highways and motorways once again, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The toll tax on cars on highways has been increased to Rs60, wagons to Rs100 and buses to Rs200.
Small trucks on national highways will have to pay Rs250 and big trucks to Rs500.
The toll tax on cars on the Islamabad-Peshawar M-1 has been increased from Rs460 to Rs500
The toll for M-1 vegan will be Rs700, for Coaster Rs1000 and for buses Rs1450.
Large trucks on the motorway from Islamabad to Peshawar will have to pay Rs2300.
The toll tax on cars on the Lahore-Pir Abdul Hakeem Motorway will have to be paid Rs700 instead of Rs650.
The toll for cars from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad and Multan has been increased to Rs950 instead of Rs850.
The toll tax on cars on the Multan-Sukkur M-5 will be paid Rs1100. Toll tax on DI Khan to Hakla Motorway M-14 increased to Rs600.
Ministry of Communications has issued a notification and it will be implemented from January 5, 2025.
