The hearing of the Toshakhana case has been postponed until tomorrow (Wednesday), as Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir's health took a downturn during the session, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.

Judge Bashir's ongoing medical evaluation is being conducted at the Adiala Jail’s hospital.

Before the adjournment, the court successfully recorded the statement under Article 342 of Bushra Bibi. She was also given a questionnaire comprising 25 questions.

Tomorrow, the court is scheduled to record the statement under 342 of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

Additionally, the defense lawyers are expected to submit a list of witnesses to the court for review.

Earlier, lawyers representing the PTI founder filed an application seeking the restoration of the right of cross-examination in the Toshakhana case. However, following deliberation, the court dismissed the request.

Furthermore, the defense sought a two-day extension to record the statement under Article 342 of Imran Khan and his wife.

Nonetheless, the court rejected the application and instructed the recording of the statement to proceed today.

Throughout the proceedings, Judge Muhammad Bashir had to adjourn the hearing six times due to his intermittent health issues.
