Police constable gruesomely murdered in Swabi

An unknown assailant killed a constable of Swabi police and was gunned down in his own residence in a knife attack, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that the pistol of constable Abdul Saddique was also not found anywhere and no signs of dacoity were traced from the crime scene as well.
The gruesome murder of the constable sent shock waves and police high ups launched further investigation into the matter.
Police have shifted the body to the hospital for postmortem.
The incident occurred when the victim's wife and children were not at home and when they reached back home, they found the victim lying dead on the ground.
The assailant used a sharp weapon to kill his target.
Swabi police said that the gruesome murder was an attempt to create terror and fear among locals.
