The reasons behind the failure of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf long march on May 25 have come to the fore as many PTI ministers and members of parliament left their leader Imran Khan alone at the container in the dead of the night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources informed on Tuesday that the euphoria of PTI long march was pricked when more than 20 party ministers and MPAs rushed to the Khyber House to get some rest after the day’s hectic effort to reach Islamabad by crossing all hurdles and after indulging in intermittent clashes with security officials deputed all along to thwart their march.
Sources said that PTI Chairman and former premier Imran Khan was presented the CCTV footage showing party ministers and MPs entering the Khyber House. Sources further revealed that Imran Khan was furious that a large number of the party MPAs got vanished from the march and decided to take action against them.
Those who got vanished from the Haqeeqi Azadi March and went to the Khyber House included: Shaukat Yousufzai, Kamran Bangash, Tufail Anjum, Riaz Khan, Arif Ahmad Zai, Shafi Ullah, Hamayun Khan, Fazal Shakoor, Ibrahim Khattak, Iqbal Wazir, Amjad Ali, Taj Muhammad Tarind, Khaliqur Rehman, Babar Salim Swati, Mohib Ullah, Dr Amjad, Ayesha Bano, and Sajida.
However, some other PTI leaders including Pir Musawar Ghazi, Mushtaq Ghani, Zahoor, and Syed Fakhar Jehan went to the relatives’ houses to spend the night.
PTI Chief Imran was provided all details of the stay of ministers and MPAs in the Khyber House.
Party sources said that it is expected that the party leadership would take back ministries from the eluding ministers. First, a show cause notice will be served on them and it is also expected that they would not be given party ticket in the next general election.
