Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has personally conducted interviews and finalised the names of vice chancellors for 11 universities across the province.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the sources said that for Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, Dr Zubair Iqbal Ghouri has been selected.

Dr Zubair is currently serving as the pro-rector at the NAMAL Hyderabad campus. He completed his MA in English from BZU Multan during 1992-95 and pursued further education at Westminster University, London, and a university in Thailand.
