Karachi problems to go within one year, says Bilawal

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday along with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah visited rain-hit Karachi and also addressed the residents and party workers in Surjani Town, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Bilawal assured the Surjani Town residents that no one's residence will be demolished until alternative accommodation is arranged for them. He said the Sindh chief minister has assured him of solving the problems of Yusaf Goth.
“We increased the salaries of policemen in President Asif Ali Zardari’s era,” Bilawal told the residents.
He told the gathering that Karachi’s problems will be visibly solved within one year.
Bilawal said, ‘PPP's provincial government carried out an operation to end the rule of terrorists in this city, now we will work together for the development of our city.”
Bilawal said he needed support of the people of Karachi like they supported his mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Bilawal said he was apprised how rain caused severe loss to the Sindh.
Earlier in a statement Bilawal paid tributes to the martyrs of 1965 War.
