Pakistan cricket team Friday started their practice session at the Lahore Qadhafi Stadium to prepare themselves for the series against New Zealand, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The players under the leadership of Skipper Babar Azam did running, fielding drills, and net practice during the session.
Training camp supervisor Abdul Rehman was also present and welcomed the new players like Abbas Afridi, Saim Ayub, and Ihsanullah too.
The New Zealand team will arrive in Lahore and play three T20Is from 14-17 April before traveling to Rawalpindi, where the final two T20Is and first ODI will be played from 20-26 April. The tour will culminate in Karachi, with the remaining four ODIs to be played from 30 April to 7 May.
Management committee senior member Shakeel Shaikh was also present, and accompanied Babar Azam, as they talked to the pitch curators and instructed them to prepare batting-friendly pitches.
Pakistani batters had struggled during the series against Afghanistan, as the pitches were friendly for the bowlers, so the Pakistani team could not score big totals in the first two matches.
