PM Shehbaz Sharif to deliver farewell speech in NA today

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will deliver his farewell speech in the last session of the 15th National Assembly today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Shehbaz Sharif will highlight his coalition government’s achievements during the short tenure of its term in office.
The government, however, is yet to announce its choice for the slot of interim prime minister. However, names of former finance minister Dr Hafeez Shaikh and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi are making rounds. Names of MQM’s Kamran Tissori and Jamaat-i-Islami chief Sirajul Haq are also being mentioned.
In a uploaded on Wednesday morning, PM Shehbaz Sharif said the best way of paying homage to the martyrs is to make Pakistan strong and self-sufficient on economic front.
Shehabz Sharif said the coalition government has laid the foundation of economic recovery plan in the form of Special Investment Facilitation Council to achieve this goal.
The Prime Minister said it was an honor for him to address the function organized in the honor of martyrs and veterans at GHQ yesterday.
Shehbaz Sharif said all these great families whose loved ones sacrificed themselves for our safe and bright future are benefactors of the entire nation. He said the living nations always remember their benefactors.
