Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has announced plans to convene an All Parties Conference (APC) after Eid to address the rising incidents of street crime, traffic chaos, and fatal accidents involving tankers and dumpers in the city.
During a visit to Shah Faisal Colony, the governor met with the grieving family of a couple and their newborn who tragically lost their lives in a water tanker collision at Malir Halt.
Expressing his condolences, he assured them that he would not allow citizens to suffer from terrorism, street crime, and reckless driving by heavy vehicles.
“I will not remain silent on the injustices happening in this city,” Tessori declared, emphasizing the need for urgent measures to curb such incidents. He also announced that all political parties would be invited to the upcoming APC to collectively address these critical issues.
Prominent figures, including Member of the National Assembly Asia Ishaq, Senator Khalida Zia, and members of the Muttahida Coordinating Committee, accompanied the governor during his visit.
In a gesture of support, Tessori handed over files of two 80-yard plots to the affected family.
"Plots will be provided to all families who have lost loved ones in such accidents," he assured.
"I have written to the President about these incidents, and I will also be writing to the Prime Minister," Governor Tesori added, highlighting his commitment to addressing the issue at the highest level.
