Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm Eid al-Fitr greetings to Dr. Denis Bećirović, Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during a phone call, reaffirming the strong and historical ties between the two nations.

The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to Dr. Bećirović and the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, praying for their peace, progress, and prosperity. In response, the Bosnian leader also extended Eid greetings to the Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan.

During the conversation, the Pakistani leader emphasized the deep-rooted, brotherly relations between the two countries and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. Both leaders agreed on the importance of maintaining regular dialogue and strengthening ties in these key areas.

In a gesture of goodwill, the Prime Minister invited Dr. Bećirović to visit Pakistan for an official visit, which the Bosnian leader accepted. In return, Dr. Bećirović extended a similar invitation to the Prime Minister to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, further reinforcing the commitment to closer diplomatic engagement.

The conversation highlighted Pakistan’s unwavering support for Bosnia and Herzegovina, with both leaders expressing their desire for continued cooperation and mutual growth.
