Bollywood actress Radhika Apte has finally returned to Mumbai with her three-month-old daughter, marking her first visit to India since embracing motherhood.
The actress, who welcomed her baby girl with husband Benedict Taylor in December 2024, had been staying in London ever since. Now, she is back in her home country and couldn’t be more excited, especially as she arrived just in time for mango season.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning, Radhika shared a heartwarming picture of herself holding her baby girl. While she kept her daughter’s face hidden behind a sunglasses emoji, the happiness on her face was evident. In the caption, she expressed her joy at being back in Mumbai while also acknowledging the city’s scorching heat. "Touchdown in the motherland! The post quickly caught the attention of her industry friends and fans. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar welcomed Radhika with a sweet message, commenting, "Welcome" along with a hug and red heart emoji. In a previous interview with Vogue India in December 2024, Radhika had revealed that she planned to stay in London until February before returning to India to resume work. Now that she’s back, fans are eager to see what’s next for the versatile actress.
On the professional front, Radhika was last seen in the English film 'Sister Midnight', which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
