Actress and singer Anooshay Ashraf opened her thoughts on society's pressure tactics and stereotypical mindset against successful females who wish not to marry and put their profession first instead of family life.
Anooshay in an Instagram note explained what she believed: “MashAllah what a pretty girl. But there must be something wrong with her, she isn’t married yet”- things ppl say.”
“I’ll say one thing: It takes a strong, self-assured and really cool person to remain single in a world that is accustomed to settling with anything just to say they have something.”
