Social media influencer and TikTok star Imsha Rehman has finally broken the silence over the fake video scandal that shook her online presence and personal life last November.
During her appearance in an interview, expressed the devastating impact the incident has had on her.
She said, “I saw the video on the internet, after which it destroyed my whole life. I can’t go to university. I can’t face people. I have been facing a lot of death threats. People on social media think that it is quite a cool thing to make videos of others and disseminate them on social media. But they forget about its consequences on the other person.
"I could respond to the scandal, but I wanted to take legal action against them. Our FIA is capable of much more; they have already arrested the culprit, and he is behind bars. The FIA officials also said that the victims should not stay quiet and should take legal action so that such criminals get the punishment.
Imsha rose to fame for her engaging digital content. The incident led to a surge of online abuse and threats compelled her to deactivate her social media accounts.
