FIA nabs four wanted human smugglers from Gujranwala

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested four wanted human smugglers whose names were mentioned in Red Book from Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
FIA sources said that all the arrested accused were involved in human smuggling.
The accused were later identified as Imran Hussain alias Mani, Mohammad Ejaz, Imran Saqib, and Rizwan Khadim.
These accused were arrested from different areas of Gujrat and Gujranwala.
The accused were trapping innocent people in their net by showing them golden dreams for sending them to Eruope through illegal channels.
Accused Imran Hussain alias Mani was involved in Libyan boat tragedy. His name was also mentioned in Red Book as international human smuggler.
Around six cases were registered against him in FIA Composite Circle of Gujrat.
The accused collected Rs2.04 million from six persons for sending them to Europe through boat via Libya.
He sent all the victims to Egypt, Dubai and later Libya on visit visas. All the victims were kept in Safe Houses in Gujranwala and later to Europe through boat.
All these persons died when their boat sank in Libyan sea.
Another accused Mohammad Ejaz collected 9,90,000 euros from a person for sending him Italy.
Accused Imran Saqib collected Rs3.07 million from sons of a petitioner and send them to Saudi Arabia instead of Germany for employment.
Later the accused colleagues harass the victims and demanded more money from them.
Accused Rizwan Khadim generated Rs2.07 million from a person promising him to provide employment and residence in Spain, upon his failure he disappeared.
Director FIA Gujranwala Zone Abdul Qadir Qamar said that FIA teams using all available resources to arrest human smugglers.
He said that crackdown is still go-on after obtaining credible intelligence reports against the human smugglers.
He said that no one will be allowed to play with the lives of the innocent people.
