With police still unable to capture the person allegedly involved in the infamous motorway gang-rape case, another horrific case surfaced in the country as a woman was sexually assaulted by six men in Nankana Sahib, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

This horrendous incident took place in Mangtanwala town on Sheikhupura-Jaranwala Road on September 24. It is reported that the victim was waiting for some vehicle to reach her destination after the bus she was travelling broke down near Mangtanwala Police Station.

Meanwhile, the rapists riding a car persuaded her to join them, saying they were ready to provide lift to her. However, they gang-raped her after making her consume some intoxicants and later dump her in fields before fleeing the scene.

However, an even more tragic part of the story is that the police registered the case five days after the incident.

On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the matter and directed the police to capture the culprits immediately.
Punjab Inspector General of Police has also taken notice of the incident. He directed Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sheikhupura to arrest the culprits and present a report to him.
