1,000 passengers stranded as train develops fault in Haripur

As many as 1,000 passengers stranded when Hazara Express developed a fault in Haripur on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The train’s engine came to a halt after its water pump stopped working near Sarai Saleh in Haripur.
The passengers of the train which was travelling to Karachi from Havelian were waiting for a repair team in the scorching heat for over two hours now.
The Pakistan Railways officials, however, informed the passengers that a new engine will replace the faulty one.
The new engine which has set off for Haripur from Taxila will be here very soon, they further said.
