Ducky Bhai sparks debate after claiming he doesn’t know Bushra Ansari

Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, has set social media abuzz after admitting that he is unfamiliar with veteran actress Bushra Ansari.

His remarks, made during a special Eid podcast, have sparked debate over the divide between traditional television actors and digital content creators.

During the podcast, Ducky Bhai stated that while he recognizes Ansari’s face, he is unaware of her work. He further criticized TV actors, claiming that many lack creative control and are overly dependent on directors.

“They don’t put in their own effort. They just dance to the director’s tune,” he remarked, adding that many television artists struggle to secure roles and often deal with self-doubt.

He went on to question the relevance of television dramas, stating, “I don’t understand who still watches dramas. The TV era is over.”

From YouTube Beginnings to Success

Reflecting on his own journey, Rehman shared that he launched his YouTube channel on a whim and didn’t earn a single rupee until reaching five million subscribers. His first-ever YouTube income, he revealed, was just $100.

He also disclosed that the duck image he uses as his brand logo was randomly picked from Google and has remained unchanged ever since.

Eidi, Personal Traditions, and Rivalry Rumors

Rehman revealed that Eid and birthdays hold little excitement for him, as he considers them just like any other day. However, last year, he gave generous Eidi to his mother and wife. This year, they encouraged him to donate the money to his fans instead.

Addressing rumors of a rivalry with fellow YouTuber Rajab Butt, Ducky Bhai denied any conflict, dismissing the speculation as baseless gossip.

His comments, particularly about the Pakistani TV industry, have divided fans—some agreeing with his perspective, while others believe he underestimated the legacy and impact of traditional entertainment.
