AGP directs Punjab home dept to get Nawaz Sharif’s medical report reviewed

The Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Thursday directed the Punjab Home Department to get reviewed the medical report of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif which was placed before the Lahore High Court (LHC) from a medical board set up by the Punjab government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

AGP has written a letter to the Punjab government to review the medical report of PML-N supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

A letter written by the Attorney General's Office to the Punjab Home Department states that the medical report of Nawaz Sharif drafted by American Dr. Fayyaz Shawl was submitted to the LHC.

The letter said that further progress will be made only after the opinion of the Punjab government's medical board.

Pertinent to note that the medical report of PML-N supremo, consisted of 3 pages was filed in the LHC. Due to which, the doctors have advised Nawaz against air travel, and it has been reported that the former premier is under more stress after the death of his wife, Kulsoom Nawaz.
