Plea seeking Rs1.52 per unit surcharge in power price for K-Electric customers lands in Nepra

A plea seeking a Rs1.52 per unit surcharge in the price of electricity for the customers of K-Electric has been submitted to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The K-Electric customers will have to bear an additional burden of Rs24.50 billion with the approval of the surcharge.
The K-Electric customers will be surcharged for one year.
The Nepra will hear the plea of the federal government on August 15.
