Samsung is working on a Galaxy S25 Slim, but the question is whether Samsung wants to unveil it globally. The Slim might compete against the iPhone 17 Air, and evidence of its future global release is on an IMEI listing.
An ‘X’ leaker the username ‘Erencan Yılmaz’ shared a GSMA IMEI listing that confirms the model code SM-S937B/DS belonging to one Galaxy S25 Slim. From how Samsung usually codes its products, the B/DS only means one thing: It’s a global version.
The letter ‘B’ at the end means the phone is an international variant and the DS is an obvious reference for the “Dual-SIM config.” IMEI database even has another listing for the same device, but that one has code ‘SM-S937U.’ That may be a call sign for the US version.
According to most reports, the rest of the Galaxy S25 lineup will become official by January, but Samsung's future flagship has no such plans. You’ll probably see the Slim model debut in the second quarter of 2025, likely when the fan-editions, and Pixel devices come out.
All the speculations point to a great camera setup for the Slim variant, hitting 200 MP for the main shooter, 50 MP for the Ultrawide, and a 50 MP telephoto 3.5x sensor on the rear side. The sensors might be JN5 and HP5, the latest generation of Samsung’s flagship ISOCELL sensors.
