Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervez Elahi after meeting with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar at Governor House said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government will complete its five years in term, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
After the meeting, Chaudhry Pervzez Elahi reiterated his support to the government and said that the government will complete the term five years in office.
“Negotiations and all matters will be held during this period,” Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said.
Punjab Assembly Speaker said that Imran Khan came to his home and now there is no more grievance with the PTI government.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that public rallies are beauty and part of democracy and if the opposition does not hold a rally, how will it survive.
The TV channel reported both dignitaries discussed reconciliatory matters. It has been reported both met in Governor House lawn also after having one-on-one meetings.
It may be worthy to mention here that Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the Chaudhrys at their residence after PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain November 25 for the first time, since he assumed the office over two years ago.
The other purpose was to improve the relations between the two allies, which had been strained for quite some time over a host of issues.
