Lady doctor deters attempted rape at Lahore hospital

A case of attempted rape of a lady doctor in the hostel of Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore was registered on Wednesday, reported 24NewSHD TV channel.
According to the FIR, the lady doctor was resting in her hostel room when the accused insisted her to open the door under the pretext of an emergency relating to a child's health.
As the doctor opened the door, the accused threatened to kill the lady by strangulation while attempting to rape her.
However, the accused managed to escape from the hostel room after the lady doctor raised alarm.
