Disgruntled PTI leader Raja Riaz first termed his former leader Imran Khan as most corrupt and then announced to contest next elections on a PMLN-N ticket from NA-110.

Talking to 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday, Raja Riaz reiterated the allegations of various disgruntled leaders from Punjab including former Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and former top aide Aleem Khan that deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners were only appointed after accepting bribes.

He said that Imran Khan was telling lies to the nation. Raja said that the nation has been waiting for the verdict from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

He claimed that he will contest elections against the PTI leader Farrukh Habib and will defeat him.

NA-110 is a Faisalabad constituency from where Raja Riaz won in the 2018 general elections with 114,215 votes by defeating PML-N Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan (108,172 votes) and TLP candidate Hafiz Umar Farooq (107,82 votes) and others.

Upon his arrival at his hometown, he was well received by his workers and well-wishers who presented him garlands on his return from Islamabad.
