Fire brigade officer who died fighting fire laid to rest in Karachi

A fire-fighter namely Bilal Tanoli who was died while trying to extinguish a fire under control which erupted in a cardboard factory located on Super Highway was laid to rest in Landhi, Karachi, reported 24HD News Channel on Saturday.
An uncle of late fire fighter told media that Bilal was at number two among his four brother.
He joined Rescue 1122 service only one year ago. He further revealed that Bilal who was unmarried wanted to join Pakistan Army.
The elder brother of Bilal was already serving in Pakistan Army and will reach Karachi soon.
He went on to saying that Bilal embraced martyrdom while performing his official duty and entire family is proud of his sacrifice.
The uncle of victims said that Bilal sacrificed his valuable life while performing his duty to control the fire.
His funeral prayers will were held in Zafar Town area of Landhi in Karachi.
Later talking with media, Rescue-1122 spokesperson Hassaan Khan told that the blaze had erupted ostensibly due to some short circuit. Realising the gravity of the situation, firemen had declared it as a “third degree” fire, Mr Khan said, adding that over 20 fire tenders managed to control it after hectic efforts lasting for several hours.
However, the fireman lost his life during the operation, he added.
