A team of Vehari police raided a private hospital located in Muslim Town in Vehari where they thrashed a female patient black and blue, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The TV channel reported the policemen were in plainclothes from Daniwal Police Station who raided the hospital on suspicion of drugs. 

 The female victim claimed she was admitted to the private hospital when policemen broke the door of the hospital and one of them started torturing her after she asked why he was breaking the door of a hospital. He held her by her neck and tortured her.

She demanded the Punjab Inspector General Police IGP to provide justice to her in the matter, the TV channel reported.
