Shahnawaz Amir, mother indicted in Sarah Inam murder case
Both accused plead not guilty: Judge summons prosecution's witnesses on next hearing.

A district and sessions court in Islamabad Monday indicted Shahnawaz Amir and his mother Samina Shah in Sarah Inam murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sessions Judge Atta Rabbani indicted the accused who pleaded not guitly. The court also summoned the witnesses of prosecution on December 16.
Earlier, Samina Shah, the mother of the main accused in Sarah Inam murder case, submitted a plea to a district and sessions court in Islamabad Monday for discharging her from the case before indictment.
Sessions Judge Atta Rabbani heard the plea of Samina Shah who had appeared before the court along with her lawyer Nisar Asghar.
Her lawyer told the court the police had written in the challan that she was present on the site of the murder but had no role in the act.
“She should be discharged from the case, for the case is not against her,” he pleaded.
“The court has to make the final opinion after seeing the challan report. It was Samina who had handed over her son Shahnawaz Amir to police when the latter reached,” he stated.
“There is nothing against Samina in the case,” he maintained.
The lawyer of the complainant, Engr Inamur Rahim, did not appear before the court.
