Second female DC for Lahore as deputy commissioners across Punjab changed

Punjab Governor Saturday in a major reshuffle changed all the deputy commissioners of the province, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.
Capital City Lahore got the second female deputy commissioner as Rafia Haider is appointed Deputy Commissioner Lahore.
Rafia Haider is a 40th Common officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service and passed the competitive exam after taking a degree in public policy from Germany.
Rafia Haider is considered one of the most capable, hardworking and honest officers and worked as Assistant Commissioner Faisalabad, Additional DG Operations Punjab Food Authority, Deputy Secretary Primary Health, Director CDC Health and CEO Lahore Waste Management Company.
Before her appointment as Deputy Commissioner Lahore, she was posted as DG Civic Management CDA in Islamabad.
Rafia has also the honour of being the most successful CEO of Lahore Waste Management Company. After the departure of the Turkish company, she solved the serious garbage problem in Lahore.
Lahore, under the leadership of Rafia Haider, took the first position in Pakistan in disposing of garbage on Eid-ul-Adha.
In the past years, she has received certificates of appreciation from the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Prime Minister of Pakistan several times based on her performance
Rafia Haider did the job of expanding the Punjab Food Authority from Lahore to the whole of Punjab and Punjab Food Authority increased the number of employees of operation teams from 18 to 2100.
During the outbreak of Coronavirus, as Deputy Secretary of Health, she created a network of modern laboratories as the number of coronavirus testing laboratories increased from zero to 18.
The first waste management site in the history of Islamabad was also planned by Rafia Haider.
