Fog leads to fatal bus accidents in Punjab: 4 dead, 24 injured

Four people were killed and 17 received serious injuries 4 of them were in critical condition when a speedy passenger bus collided with a van due to dense fog near Ada Ghiani in Bahawalnagar, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
After receiving the report of the accident, the Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Bahawalnagar.
Later, hospital sources confirmed that four injured passengers were in critical condition. They further said that an accident occurred in the thick fog.
The police cordoned off the entire spot of the accident. The bus was going to Haroonabad from Bahawalnagar.
Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) of the area Sohail Khan reached the hospital and inquired about the well-being of patients.
He directed to provide all available facilities to the injured person and their relatives.
Seven injured in road accident in Sangla Hill.
In a separate accident, around 7 people were seriously injured when a speedy passenger bus overturned on Faisalabad Road, Sangla Hill.
The injured persons were later identified as Waseem, who was 42 years old; Asim, 29, Sumeera, 40; Abu Bakr, 9, Faisal, 38; Sharafat, 35; and Ahsan, 34 years old.
The rescue team arrived at the site of the accident and shifted all the injured persons to the hospital.
The ill-fated bus was heading towards Faisalabad from Sangla Hill.
