The Federal Ministry of Law and Justice is bringing in the online case management system, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.


A five-member Ministry of Law and Justice delegation led by Director General Khurram met Deputy Attorney General Asad Ali Bajwa at Lahore High Court. Shahzad Mughal, UN representative Naeem Gul Khan, and Director Jamal Shah were also among the delegates.


Law officers of the federal government, Sardar Raffakat Ali Dogar, Chaudhry Naseer Gujar, Khalid Waraich, Ejaz Rahmat Basra and Zain Qureshi were also present.


The meeting mulled over the implementation of the plan, which aimed to take up the federal government’s pending cases, monitor law officers’ performance and online case management system as well as detailing and processing cases of the Centre at the Lahore High Court.


Deputy Attorney General Asad Ali Bajwa shed light on the importance of the online case management system, describing it as the need of the hour.


Asad Ali Bajwa said the system will put case details, the attorney general office, the ministry of law and federal institutions on one platform.
