A student of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila lost his life while swimming in the deep waters of Khanpur Dam, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
The deceased identified as Zeeshan Haider, a resident of Toba Tek Singh, was the only brother among five sisters.
As per the channel report, locals retrieved the dead body of Zeeshan Haider from the deep waters of the dam and transferred it to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
Following a post-mortem examination, the local police and hospital administration handed over the body of the young student for burial to his heirs.
