The Sindh Government has made it mandatory to install side mirrors on the motorcycle to reduce traffic accidents, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.
A Sindh Cabinet meeting, chaired by CM Murad Ali Shah, approved amendments in the traffic rules.
The bike sellers showed an overwhelming response to the provincial government’s initiative and have said, ‘‘The bike riders often refuse to take the side glasses with them when they buy the bikes.’’
The motorcyclists also called it a good decision by the government as far as safety precautions were concerned.
According to the new traffic rule imposed by the Sindh Government, motorcyclists without having side mirrors will be fined Rs500.
