Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said they are starting a mass drive "PTI Mukaoo, Mulk Bachao” (End PTI, Save Country) across the country very soon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
Talking to a private television channel, he said they will not support the process of dissolving assemblies as it is an undemocratic act.
The minister said all possible efforts are being made to steer the country out of economic crisis and provide relief to the poor masses.
To a question, he replied there are no official talks underway with the President.
To another question, Rana Sanaullah said Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will be constituted on slain Arshad Sharif's case.
“Islamabad Police is investigating Arshad Sharif's case under Section 174 of the Penal Code besides the fact-finding team,” Rana Sanaullah
The Interior minister further revealed the report of the fact-finding team is being submitted to the Supreme Court.
“Now the FIR has been registered, the report of the fact-finding team will be a part of it,” he added.
Rana added Khurram and Waqar are part of Arshad Sharif’s case and there may be other people with them. “Late Arshad Sharif arrived in Kenya through the mediation of Tariq Wasi and was the guest of Waqar Ahmed and Khurram Ahmed, he said adding that these three people will be investigated.
Yet another, he replied Imran Khan should change his attitude towards negotiations. “Formal negotiations will be held with Imran Khan in front of the public, Rana Sanaullah added.
He also urged Pakistan PTI leaders to come to parliament for discussion on holding the next general elections.
He stressed blackmailing and threatening tactics are not the civilized way to resolve political issues.
