Couple shot dead, child escapes unhurt in Nankana 

A couple was shot dead while their child escaped unhurt in Nankana Sahib, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The incident took place in Saddar police limits. Police said the couple tied the knot against the consent of their families four years ago.

The deceased were identified as Muhammad Saddique and his spouse Shakila.

Reportedly, Shakila’s family was against the marriage.

Police sent the bodies for medico-legal formalities. A case has been registered and the investigation is on.
