A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Monday arrested four officials including two sales officers during a raid at the Lahore region office of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the FIA sources, the sales officers were identified as Naveed Zafar and Irfan Hafeez.

They were accused of transferring commercial connection on fake stamp paper.

“An attempt was made to grab property worth crores of rupees through fake documents,” the FIA sources said.

“The commercial connection was transferred to another name by tampering with the record,” they added.

“The FIA sealed several shops in front of the Lahore region office of the SNGPL. A commercial connection was transferred to these shops by preparing fake documents,” they stated.

The FIA widened the scope of investigation after sealing the record.
