JUI-F leader injured in Khyber attack

Unidentified assailants opened fire at Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s (JUI-F) Ansar-ul-Islam leader Maulana Luqman and injured him on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Maulana Luqman was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. The attackers managed to flee away from the scene.
Police have launched a hunt for the attackers of Maulana Luqman who is the Salaar (leader) of District Khyber.
A day go, people in Bajaur lynched a man after accusing him of planting bombs that killed Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leaders some months ago.
The angry mob consisted of locals who arrested the unfortunate man and beat him to death. The person accused of bombing belonged to Mamoond Tehsil of Bajaur.
