Comedian Amanullah remembers on 5th death anniversary

Veteran comedian Amanullah's fifth death anniversary is being observed today.

The King of Comedy, Amanullah Khan, spent his life spreading laughter and gained fame all over the world, including India.

He passed away in a private hospital in Lahore on Friday, 6 March 2020.

He was shifted to the hospital after his health deteriorated as he was a patient of multiple diseases like lungs, kidneys, and breathing issues.

Birth

Amanullah Khan was born in 1950 in the village of Chakram Das near Gujranwala.

About his journey

Stage, TV, and film actor Amanullah first performed on stage in 1976 and never looked back. He ruled the hearts of people for 42 consecutive years.

Amanullah was considered one of the best comedians in Pakistan. He was honored to have performed in live theater for 860 consecutive days and played timeless roles.

No one has been able to act as funny as Amanullah till now.

The government of Pakistan also honored him with the Pride of Performance award.

His performances in various stage dramas and films had accumulated audience appreciation for his unique style.
