Female politician Ayesha Gulalai Wazir Saturday announced to change her party name from PTI-Gulalai to Jamaat-e-Suffa claiming that people were abusing Imran Khan’s PTI on high inflation.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, she held a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday and said she had changed her party name because people were abusive when they heard the word “PTI”.

She said that now the name of her party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Gulalai faction would be called Jamaat-e-Suffa.

Gulalai said that the ruling PTI had destroyed the country under the leadership of Imran Khan who had violated all the promises made by him and his party before the general elections.

Former MNA said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had insulted the politics and the democracy and they would not transfer the authority and funds to a lower level through the local bodies’ elections.
