Death toll 56 as number of Punjab cases doubled than Sindh

The number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has more than doubled as compared to Sindh as the death toll from the pandemic has risen to 56 in Pakistan.

The countrywide tally of the cases stood at 3,865 early Tuesday. The number of Punjab cases shot up to 1,918 and Sindh to 932. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also recorded a sharp surge with total cases at 500 while Balochistan has 202 cases and Gilgit Baltistan 213 virus patients.

Islamabad so far registered 831 cases and Azad Kashmir has 17 cases.
