Hasan Ali says Karachi Kings aim to bring fans back to stadiums

Karachi Kings’ fast bowler Hasan Ali has vowed to deliver strong performances in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) following his return from injury, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Monday.

Speaking to the media in Karachi, Hasan Ali remarked, "There are many new things in Karachi Kings this season. We are hopeful of producing good results."

He noted that the presence of former Pakistan bowling coach Shaun Tait would be a significant advantage, having previously worked with him in the national team setup.

 "Tait's experience will definitely benefit the squad." 

Hasan emphasized the importance of quality cricket in attracting audiences, particularly in light of the global competition posed by leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL).

"If the performances in PSL are strong, people will watch PSL over IPL," he added confidently.

Reflecting on his personal journey, Hasan said, "I am making a comeback after injury, and this PSL is very important for me."

 He stressed that his focus is on contributing wherever the team needs him, adding, "My effort is always to perform when the team needs it most."

Addressing the broader context of Pakistan cricket, Hasan Ali acknowledged that the performance of the national team affects public interest in domestic leagues.

"When the national team doesn’t perform well, it impacts franchise leagues like the PSL too," he admitted.

However, he expressed hope in the fresh talent currently representing the national side that they would form soon. 

"There are new faces in the national team, and they need time to settle," he said.

Hasan also observed the correlation between national success and league popularity. "When the national team does well, the graph of the PSL also rises," he noted.

He emphasized that all players have a collective responsibility to perform well in order to reignite fan enthusiasm for Pakistan cricket.

 "We all need to perform well so that fans return to support Pakistan cricket."

Commenting on the visibility that the PSL offers, Hasan pointed out that players who perform well in the league consistently receive attention. He added that he intends to carry forward the momentum from his successful National T20 campaign into the PSL.

 Hasan Ali added that Karachi Kings will give a strong performance and bring the Karachi fans back to the stadium.
