Teachers rush as transfer ban lifted in Punjab

The ban on teachers’ transfers in Punjab has officially been lifted, prompting a large response on the very first day, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to sources, hundreds of teachers submitted their applications seeking transfers as soon as the process opened.
As per the channel report, only teachers awaiting promotion-based, mutual, disposal, or adjustment transfers will be eligible to apply.
The channel reported that the deadline to submit transfer applications has been set as April 13.
Authorities confirmed that the transfer orders will be issued after April 30, giving teachers ample time to adjust their preferences and complete necessary documentation.
