PM Imran phones Sri Lankan counterpart, greets him on electoral victory

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday made a phone call to his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapaksa and congratulated him on his party’s victory in the recent elections.
The two leaders discussed the measures their countries have taken to stop the spread of coronavirus. On this occasion, Khan shared Pakistani government’s strategy to control the spread of coronavirus. He said that Pakistan wants to work with Sri Lanka for promotion of bilateral relations.
