Aurat March organisers have launched preparations to celebrate the International Women Day on March 8 and sought permission from Islamabad administration to hold Aurat March in this regard, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The organisers moved an application with the Islamabad administration to obtain an NOC for holding the Aurat March on March 8.

The organisers sought permission to hold the event outside the National Press Club and a rally from there to D-Chowk.

They also urged the federal capital’s administration to arrange security for the Aurat March.
