Two Sindh police officers die of coronavirus; 115 infected

As many as 115 officers and personnel of Sindh police, serving at the frontline to enforce lockdown in order to contain the coronavirus, have been infected by the virus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Two police personnel have so far been martyred while performing their corona duties while condition of a sub-inspector is critical.

So far 15 police officers and jawans have defeated the coronavirus and have fully recovered while 97 are still undergoing treatment.

A spokesman of the Sindh police maintained that the spirits of infected officers and jawans are high and they are determined to beat the virus.
